About Dr John Ho
​
John graduated from Med School at the University of Aberdeen having received his training from Royal Aberdeen Sick Children, Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow.
​
In 1997 John took a sabbatical in order to study Paediatrics in a tropical country at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok.
​
Returning to London in 1998 John continued his sub-speciality training in virtually all of the Paediatric sub-specialities (including neonatology, rheumatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology , respiratory medicine, neurology, nephrology and community paediatrics).
​
As a Senior Paediatrician in the NHS, John’s area of work includes acute paediatric receiving and neonatal receiving, general paediatrics, baby clinics and musculoskeletal clinics.
​
In addition to this, he has also been the lead for Research and Development for the Paediatric Department for the last 10 years, the lead for Paediatric Undergraduate Education for 17 years and a Tutor and faculty member to the Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma Courses in Medical Education at the Royal College of Physicians in London for 9 years.
​
John is bilingual and speaks fluent Cantonese and English.
